WSTS has published the Q2 2018 semiconductor market figures and re-calculated the Spring 2018 Forecast using the actual figures of the second quarter 2018. The Worldwide semiconductor market was up 21.6% in 2017 to US$412.2 billion, an alltime high. The year 2018 is forecasted to be strong with 15.7% growth to US$477 billion. During 2018 the largest growth is expected across memory, analog ICs, discretes, and optoelectronics with all products contributiong to growth. All regions are forecasted to remain growth in 2018.
