The World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) has released its new semiconductor market forecast generated in May 2020.
WSTS expects the world semiconductor market to be up by 3.3 percent to US$ 426 billion in 2020. This reflects expected increase in Integrated Circuits, except Analog, with an increase from Memory at 15.0 percent, followed by Logic with 2.9 percent. In 2020, Americas and Asia Pacific are expected to grow.
Worldwide Semiconductor Market growth is expected to acceleate in 2021
For 2021, the global semiconductor market is projected to grow by 6.2 percent, driven by double-digit growth of Memory. All regions are expected to show a positive growth rate.
